Admission Requirements:

  • General university entrance qualification (Abitur), entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences or placement examination/special admission
  • A completed training or study contract with a company or public corporation with which Bremen University of Applied Sciences has concluded a cooperation agreement for the implementation of the study program.

  • Design, implementation, commissioning and documentation of technical solutions
  • Adaptation and optimization of existing systems

  • Analysis, Electrical Engineering I, Computer Science, Programming 1, DSI TPT
    Linear algebra, electrical engineering 2, digital circuit design, programming 2
    Advanced Engineering Mathematics, Analysis 2 and Stochastics, Fundamentals of Electrical Measurement, Operating Systems, Software Engineering 1.
  • IHK intermediate examination
  • Computer networks, microcontrollers, databases, software engineering 2
  • Practical preparation / project management, operational practical phase
  • Practice follow-up / industry project preparation, industry project.
  • IHK final examination
  • Computer-aided design of digital circuits, elective module I…III
    Computer architecture, elective module, elective module IV
  • Bachelor thesis I, Bachelor thesis II

  • A very good school leaving certificate (especially mathematics, computer science, German & English) with advanced technical college entrance qualification or A-levels

Note on Dual Study:

The university has very high quantitative and qualitative requirements for learning content. We estimate the performance requirements for a dual student to be much higher compared to the apprenticeship (IT specialist for application development). This means that a dual student has to acquire training and study content in a shortened period of time.
